1453271 Wells etc KUNSTSTOFFWERK GEBR ANGER GmbH & CO 2 Jan 1975 [11 Jan 1974] 60/75 Heading E1F Apparatus for pumping water from a well having its shaft lined by a water permeable filtering wall 11 includes a water pump 12 arranged in the shaft and a pipe arranged in the shaft below the pump 12 concentrically with the filtering wall 11 and extending over at least a major portion of the length of the shaft, the pipe being sealingly connected to the intake of the pump 12 and being provided in its peripheral wall with a plurality of openings arranged to allow water to flow into the interior of the pipe at or above the rate at which the water is displaceable by the pump and over such an area in the shaft that water is caused to flow into the shaft from the surrounding water bearing strata substantially without entrainment of the strata materials e.g. sand. As described the pipe consists of demountable pipe sections 14 to 19 (Fig. 3), has its upper end connected to the pump 12 and has its lower end closed by a stop 21. The apparatus is held concentrically in the shaft by centralizers 13, 20, 22. Each pipe section 14 to 19 consists of an inner pipe 1 (Fig. 1) provided with openings 1a and an outer pipe 2 provided with openings 2a both pipes 1, 2 being formed of p.v.c., and the space 3 between the pipes 1, 2 is filled with particulate material or a cylindrical body of water permeable material. Alternatively each pipe section 14 to 19 may itself be formed by a cylindrical body of water permeable material (not shown). In a modification (Fig. 5) the pump (not shown) is freely suspended in a solid tube 33 which forms the upper part of the well shaft, the lower part of the well shaft being formed by filtering wall 32 having a flange 35 at its upper end. The pipe sections 14 to 19 are connected to a pipe 36 having a flange 37 at its upper end, the pipe 36 being sealed in the tube 33 by a rubber packer located between flanges 35, 37 andcompressed by the weight of the pipe sections 14 to 19.

(54) DEVICE FOR EXTRACTING WATER FROM WELLS
one
The invention relates to a device for extracting water from wells.
A device for extracting water from a water well is known, having a casing consisting of two perforated pipes, between which gravel bedding and a device for transporting water to the consumer 1 are placed.
In the known device, the flow rates of water are not adjustable, therefore sand is carried out of the ground and clogs both the water and the transfer pump.
Closest to the proposal is a device for supplying water from a well, with skin Xu inside which is placed a pump and a device for changing the flow rate of water placed along the axis of the device and made 3 as a vertical movable pipe with a valve 2.
However, in this device, the change in speed is accomplished only by changing the flow, which does not solve the problem of increasing the well rate.
The goal you invent is to increase the production rate of the well by preventing high velocities of water from the aquifer. This is achieved due to the fact that the node 5 for changing the flow rate of water is made in the form of two coaxially arranged pipes with a granular filler between them, the upper end of which is located under the pump, the lower end is provided with a plug, and in the walls of the v10 are polyenes transverse slots.
The node for changing the flow rate of water consists of sections rigidly connected to each other and has centering means.
FIG. 1 shows the device, a common J5 VIEW in FIG. 2 is the same vertical section, in FIG. 3 - the same, top view.
The proposed device consists of a casing 1, inside which is placed a rac 2 and a node for changing the flow rate 3, which is in the form of two coaxial pipes 4 and 5, between which is placed a granulated filler 6, which can be used plastic granules or washed gravel.
Transverse slots 7 are made in the walls of pipes 4 and 5. The upper end of the pipe is adjacent to the pump, and the lower end has a plug 8. The node for changing the flow velocity can consist of several sections 9 rigidly bridged by means of a locking ring 10 and screws placed in the holes eleven.
The granular filler is fixed in the annular space by means of locking rings 12 and 13.
Option with threaded connection sections.
The centering elements 14 and 15 provide for the placement of a node for varying the flow rates along the axis of the device.
Water through the casing 1 enters the inside of the device, and then through the transverse slots in the pipes and granular filler into the inside of the device, which provides a gradual decrease in the flow rate and prevents sand from escaping and prevents it from entering the pump, that is, it improves the quality of the produced water.
The proposed device allows maintaining the normal movement of water from aquifer sands, which is, for example, 5 mm / s, i.e. they will not be affected by the suction effect of the pump and prevents the creation of a turbulent mode of water in the well.
Moreover, the hydraulic resistance of the node for varying the flow rate must be calculated so that inside its flow rate corresponds to the characteristics of the pump.
